Celebrating The Season By Giving: Fighting Childhood Arthritis

Did you know that about 50 million people in the U.S. have arthritis, and of those, about 300,000 are children under the age of 18?

Every day kids and adults suffer from this debilitating disease; that's why Team Ethan's Entourage wants to do what it can to help fight back and raise awareness of childhood arthritis by participating in the largest holiday 5k race series aimed to fight arthritis: the 2013 Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis!

The Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is a fun and festive way to kick off your holidays by helping others! So wear a holiday themed costume, tie jingle bells to your shoelaces, and help to raise funds to fight arthritis - the nation's leading cause of disability- by running or walking with your team members and ours, and celebrate this season by giving.

Graphic Perspective is happy to be a part of the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis this year by providing custom-printed t-shirts for Ethan's Entourage team members.

The 2013 Jingle Bell Walk/Run for Arthritis will be held on December 7, 2013, at Slater Memorial Park in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Contract Embroidery Work For Small Print Shops

For several years embroidery has been growing in popularity among businesses and organizations in need of custom apparel for promotional purposes; and for good reason.

For restaurants, stores or events, embroidered t-shirts or polo shirts help set employees out from the crowd. Embroidered tops boost the image of sports teams and make a good first impression with those who see it. For educational institutions and non-profit organizations, embroidered apparel has a greater chance of catching the eye of the public or consumers; and being more durable, a brand or cause can be promoted by embroidered apparel for a long time without fear that the design will fade.

But while printing and embroidery usually go hand in hand, professional embroidery equipment for large-scale production is expensive and bulky, and the process can be time consuming. Yet, if you own or run a small printing shop, you don't want to turn down profits on embroidery work.

That's why Graphic Perspective is pleased to offer contract embroidery work to small print shops. Using state-of-the art software and a multi-head 15-color automatic embroidery machine, our embroidery process is fully automated allowing us the ability to produce high quality products for big orders at a low cost.

2013 Sail For Hope Regatta

Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year's annual Sail for Hope boat race around the island of Jamestown, RI!

Now in its 12th year, the regatta was originally established in 2001 to raise funds to support the NYFD firefighters, police, and victims of 9/11. The display of patriotism and generosity on and off the water made a lasting impression in the sailing community, and so the event has continued under the name "Sail For Hope," reflecting the Rhode Island State motto and aimed at supporting local charities.

To date, nearly $1 million has been raised for a variety of charities.

The 2012 Sail For Hope was another great success, helping to raise funds for The Wounded Warrior Project and the RI Red Cross Armed Services Families.

Graphic Perspective is proud to have joined this wonderful cause by providing custom embroidered hats to the teams.

If you, your organization or charity are planning a fundraiser, you can contact Graphic Perspective to get a free quote for your custom printed or embroidered apparel needs.

We All Smile In The Same Language

Deaf Awareness
Each year, the last full week of September is Deaf Awareness Week; a time to recognize and celebrate the culture, history, language and community unique to Deaf people worldwide.

During this week many organizations for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people will organize marches, debates, campaigns, meetings and celebrations to promote the rights of Deaf people, dispel misconceptions of being Deaf, and bring to light the challenges Deaf people face during everyday life.

This year, Perspectives Corporation will celebrate Deaf awareness by joining the Rhode Island Parent Information Network (RIPIN) and the RI Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) for the second annual Family Fun Day at the Park!

To commemorate the event, Graphic Perspective has designed these fun and attractive t-shirts for volunteers and participants.

Perspectives Corporation is the largest human services agency in the State of Rhode Island, providing a multitude of services for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Graphic Perspective is a subsidiary of Perspectives, employing people with disabilities to create high-quality printed and embroidered apparel for local businesses and events.

Family Day At The Park will be held on Saturday, September 21st from 12:00-3:00pm at Goddard Memorial State Park in East Greenwich, RI. Bring your family for food, art & crafts, face painting, volleyball, ASL storytelling, and more fun outdoor activities! ASL Interpreters will be provided.
