Fight for Air Climb: Team Breathless Climbing in Memory of Elise Jackson

Fight for Air Climb Providence 2014 The sixth annual Fight for Air Climb will be held this year at the Omni Providence Hotel in downtown Providence, Rhode Island.

The Fight for Air Climb is a unique fundraising event (think of it as a vertical indoor road race) which challenges teams and individuals to race to the top of prominent skyscrapers, stadiums and arenas in major cities across the country. Proceeds from the race are donated to provide for life-saving education and advocacy for the research of a cure for lung disease.

In Rhode Island an astounding 800 plus participants raced to the top of the Sovereign Bank Tower in 2013 - the second tallest building in Providence - raising more than $192,000 for the benefit of the American Lung Association of the Northeast.

The state's 2014 venue, rising 25 floors - some 328 feet - from the heart of the city, is the tallest hotel in Providence, and promises to be a venerable location for the event's growing success. Graphic Perspective is delighted for the opportunity to sponsor the Rhode Island Hospital's Respiratory Care Department's team, "Breathless," by providing them these custom designed and printed t-shirts (above). Team Breathless will climb the Omni Providence Hotel in memory of Elise Jackson, a brave 10-year-old girl who sadly lost her fight with lung disease this year.

Please consider pledging your donation this year by joining or donating to Team Breathless in support of this honorable and most important cause.

The Fight for Air Climb: Providence will commence on Saturday, February 22, at the Omni Providence Hotel. Registration closes on Feburary 18.

For more information about the race, visit climbforyourlife.org.

Celebrating The Season By Giving: Fighting Childhood Arthritis

Did you know that about 50 million people in the U.S. have arthritis, and of those, about 300,000 are children under the age of 18?

Every day kids and adults suffer from this debilitating disease; that's why Team Ethan's Entourage wants to do what it can to help fight back and raise awareness of childhood arthritis by participating in the largest holiday 5k race series aimed to fight arthritis: the 2013 Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis!

The Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is a fun and festive way to kick off your holidays by helping others! So wear a holiday themed costume, tie jingle bells to your shoelaces, and help to raise funds to fight arthritis - the nation's leading cause of disability- by running or walking with your team members and ours, and celebrate this season by giving.

Graphic Perspective is happy to be a part of the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis this year by providing custom-printed t-shirts for Ethan's Entourage team members.

The 2013 Jingle Bell Walk/Run for Arthritis will be held on December 7, 2013, at Slater Memorial Park in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Contract Embroidery Work For Small Print Shops

For several years embroidery has been growing in popularity among businesses and organizations in need of custom apparel for promotional purposes; and for good reason.

For restaurants, stores or events, embroidered t-shirts or polo shirts help set employees out from the crowd. Embroidered tops boost the image of sports teams and make a good first impression with those who see it. For educational institutions and non-profit organizations, embroidered apparel has a greater chance of catching the eye of the public or consumers; and being more durable, a brand or cause can be promoted by embroidered apparel for a long time without fear that the design will fade.

But while printing and embroidery usually go hand in hand, professional embroidery equipment for large-scale production is expensive and bulky, and the process can be time consuming. Yet, if you own or run a small printing shop, you don't want to turn down profits on embroidery work.

That's why Graphic Perspective is pleased to offer contract embroidery work to small print shops. Using state-of-the art software and a multi-head 15-color automatic embroidery machine, our embroidery process is fully automated allowing us the ability to produce high quality products for big orders at a low cost.

For more information, or to get a free quote on your next big order, call Graphic Perspective at (401) 295-1560 or visit us online at graphicperspectiveri.com.
